Plymouth Palestine Solidarity Campaign
We campaign for the rights of the people of Palestine and against the illegal and inhuman treatment of Palestinian people by the Israeli Government. We welcome new members.
From the speech by the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Riyad Mansour, speaking at the General Assembly, calling for this carnage to be stopped :
Over the last three weeks 3000 children have been killed, 1700 women have been killed, 7000 civilians have been killed. Another 900 children are under the rubble 1600 Palestinians under the rubble can't be reached as there is no aid allowed. 80 families have lost most of their members 18,000 people wounded, many in hospital corridors without anaesthetic

Barclays Bank are one of the largest funders of Israeli arms companies. Companies that test their weapons on the civilian population of Gaza. Barclays are complicit in these crimes.
In the 1980s there was an effective boycott campaign against Barclays that caused it to sever it's links with apartheid South Africa.
We need to do that same again.
Plymouth City Council bank with Barclays. Pleases sign the petition calling on them to close their account with Barclays and make Plymouth an Apartheid-free Zone.
We will be protesting as a lobby of Plymouth City Council on Monday 20th November, 12-2pm at the Council House, Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 2AA
People often ask what they can do to help people in Palestine. As a group PPSC have often collected money for Medical Aid for Palestinians
